A fantastic and rare opportunity to join a challenger UK confectionery company that just so happens to own Terry’s Chocolate Orange, a UK household favourite and a £100m brand with an international presence. Terry’s Chocolate is owned by our client Carambar, a European confectionery company with PE backing to realise the potential of a number of iconic brands.

With a clear vision and strategy for growth, the business is continuing to expand its UK operations over the next few years. They are investing heavily in the market, including significant expenditure in brand marketing and importantly, people.

Whilst Terry’s is a big iconic British brand, the team behind the scenes acts and thinks like a start-up and is currently made up of 9 people in the UK (Sales & Marketing) and 5 people in France.

But Terry’s is more than a mere company: Making everyone smile is their main mission.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join the team, working on strategy, innovation and activation for Terry’s UK. In this role you will collaborate with your marketing team, the sales team and the support teams to develop and market Terry’s UK NPDs for 2025 and beyond.

The role offers plenty of scope for creativity and independent leadership as well as clearly ownable deliverables on large projects. You will lead the stretch of the brand into white spaces as well as supporting the team in place on strengthening current business. As the team is small, this role is hands on. Your broad remit will also include creating purchase orders to managing the artwork process.

This role offers agile working, 2 – 3 days a week in the London office, with the rest working from home.

You will also travel to the Carambar H.O in Paris regularly.

About You

We are looking for candidates with circa 5 to 8 years FMCG experience, working in Marketing, at a Senior Brand Manager level or an experienced Brand Manager ready for the next step.

Confectionery / impulse category experience would be an added advantage as would experience gained in an entrepreneurial SME.

You are passionate about brands and consumer marketing. Commercially astute, you have a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude and an engaging and collaborative style. With a meticulous eye for detail, you are motivated, strategic, driven and a strong team player. Nielsen/Kantar skills are essential.
