The Job

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Head of Sales – Retail, you’ll take full P&L responsibility of Asda & Morrisons accounts with a c. £50m own label / brand portfolio. Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Category & Shopper teams, you’ll ensure seamless delivery and drive maximum impact with your accounts. Your remit will include shaping creative account strategies to deliver profitable growth, negotiating contracts, forecasting, budgeting and business development.

About You
With a successful career in sales and account management within the food industry, you bring a deep passion for food and an exceptional understanding of industry food trends. Your natural talent for identifying and seizing growth opportunities sets you apart. Share with us how you craft compelling food category stories that influence key customer contacts.
We’re seeking someone with proven experience delivering profitable sales growth for an own label food company — directly managing any of the Top 6, M&S or Co-op accounts. Your expertise in chilled food categories will be a key asset. A solid understanding of NPD Management, category knowledge, supply chain acumen and the core principles of modern National Account Management is essential to succeed.
As an excellent communicator, you combine a creative mindset with focus and possess a strong drive to achieve results. Bright, proactive, and eager to learn, you thrive in problem-solving and teamwork. Confident in taking the lead, you expertly manage all aspects of account activities with skill and poise.
