The Job

This is an exciting role with a strong focus on selling added value food solutions from a substantial new multi £m, UK-based food factory investment, working closely with the Marketing Innovations team. The role will manage a selection of major Foodservice end user QSR / hotel group / pub group national accounts, working with development chefs and buyers creating and selling menu-led new added value food solutions.

You will have full P&L and strategic development of your accounts ensuring all business activities are managed through both internal and external cross-functional teams and RTM distributors.

The role reports to the Head of Sales – Foodservice, with a flexible mix of office/factory and home working, with the number one objective always being about delivering profitable sales growth and meeting both your business and personal career goals.

About You

 Above all you are a ‘FOODIE’, with a personal and professional interest in the global food scene and modern food trends. You may be an experienced chilled food National Account Manager in Foodservice, or you may have started your career as a development chef working within a recognised chilled food producer, and more recently moved your career into a major Foodservice account management commercial role where you are highly involved in both added value food NPD/Innovation and pricing management.

You understand food trends and the NPD Innovation process and challenges in bringing new food to market – including the motivation and excitement!

Additionally, you love working as part of a cross-functional team in developing new consumer and customer-led food solution briefs, managing projects and ensuring products have practical commerciality to deliver future profitable sales volumes.

You are driven, and possess a naturally engaging style, together with relentless determination and enthusiasm to succeed both with your business and personal career goals.
