The company

Our client is a key player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, a company with a rich history and a diverse portfolio of own brands and premium distributed brands. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, our client is at the forefront of the industry, driving growth and success across the UK and Ireland.

As a result, they are looking for an International Sales Manager to join their international team and be instrumental in delivering growth across key global markets.

The role

This role presents a real opportunity to be at the centre of the development, design and implementation of the business’s strategy in some of their international markets, including Australia, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Cyprus.

You will have full P&L responsibility and be accountable to deliver annual volume, revenue and profit objectives. You will be instrumental in applying their strong sales, marketing and supply chain capabilities to execute a step change in our client’s international business performance. You will lead 3rd party distributor relationships, service existing customers and develop new business opportunities.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years FMCG experience in an international sales role. Previous branded food or drinks experience would be an advantage. More importantly the job requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter with excellent commercial skills, strong project management experience, a strategic approach and an individual who is just as skilled at ‘hunting’ for new business across the international channel as well as ‘farming’ existing customers.

You will have the flexibility to travel internationally on a regular basis. You will need to demonstrate plenty of passion, energy and enthusiasm to be seriously considered.
